LAML commenced assuming risk on 1 April, 2007.

LAML gained its seventh fully participating member on 1 July when Islington LBC joined. The others are: Croydon, Camden, Haringey, Harrow, Lambeth and Tower Hamlets, with others planning to join over the next three years.
While Brent LBC may have fallen out foul of procurement laws when it joined the London Authorities Mutual Ltd, other councils do have the right to join, as Nathan Elvery explains.
